Homemade Hot Chocolate made easy with my Skinny Crock Pot Hot Chocolate.
Hi friends!
Only 17 days until Christmas and I'm here to put a little FA in your la la la! <--- Sorry, I get super cheesy around the holidays!
Don't you just love snuggling up with Hot Chocolate this time of year. I normally save my calories for food, but Christmas gets the best of me and adore a festive drink.
My Skinny Crock Pot Hot Chocolate totally fits the bill.
Can't you just envision drinking this while watching Elf or White Christmas? <--- two of my favorite Christmas movies
Lights twinkling from your tree and a fire rolling?
Come on.... I know you want to? 🙂
The joy of this recipe is it's great for a family for small gathering where you want the Hot Chocolate to stay warm. It is incredibly rich and decadent! If you want a less sweet cup, I even included notes in the recipe to make it lighter.
It's a great recipe to keep around and throw together anytime in winter, but it gets a whole new sparkle this time of year!
Enjoy.

I have to say I have never made hot chocolate in a crock-pot, chocolate pudding yes but not hot chocolate. This would be perfect for large groups, I should have tried this when we were up north the weekend after Thanksgiving, trying to mix and make hot cocoa for 11 kids was interesting, especially when adults wanted a mug too!

Would unsweetened almond milk work? I try to avoid sugar!
And does tbis taste any different in the cockpit as opposed to cooking over a regular pot or even a microwave?

This looks fantastic! What size crockpot do you use? BTW, I have a loaf of your Cocolate Chip Greek Yogurt Bread in the oven. We love it.

Never would have thought of using a crock pot for hot chocolate! Hey why not it's like a big bath of chocolate-ooh that 's an idea!
Susie @ SuzLyfe says
Not 100% sure why you are putting it into mugs. The way I see it, just drink it straight from the crockpot. This is for one, right? Plus, it'll keep it nice and warm 😀

I know : the countdown is officially on for Christmas !
I usually respond quickly to your blog, but there
are times when I'm not able to do it right away. I
appreciate the way you go back later and respond
to those who have responded to you after your first
round of responses. I know at Thanksgiving I responded
later and I shared more personally than I usually do. I appreciated
you responding to those late responses from me and I appreciate
that you take the time to regularly do that. Thank you Julie !
