Happy Fashion Friday!
Today I'm taking Fashion Friday on the road to Grenada, which is an island in the Southern Caribbean. It's so far south that the Hobie Cat sail boat instructor joked we would end up in Venezula in 30 minutes if we went the wrong way. Needless to say, we were pretty careful on the boat!
This dress was actually the first thing I packed for my trip! I got it at the end of the summer season last year at Lilly Pulitzer and I've been looking for excuses to wear it ever since. The print is all sorts of fun tropical shells! I adore it.
I love the wrap fit and think it is very flattering. This dress would look good on almost anyone!
I paired the dress with my new Jacks and handmade earings by my friend Kathleen. They were a gift many moons ago and are still one of my favorites. Since the earrings are long and the dress is patterned, I didn't do a necklace.
Grenada is so far south that the sun sets super early.... about 6:30! It was actually a rush to get outside before it got dark to take these photos. We were catching the last little bit of light in the day as we took these. I have to admit other days on the trip did not involve being as put together 🙂
I can't wait to wear this dress all summer. I may not spend the entire summer at the beach, but I'm happy to wear sea shells anytime!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I hope you have a chance to do something you love.

Love love love the dress! I also am a fan of the wrap styles in dresses, blouses and even skirts. Not only flattering, but tend to be very comfortable to wear also. You always look so put together, but this time you really hit the mark and I think it's because we get to see you without the sunglasses. That's what taking photos at dark will do! Ha!
JulieWunder says
Nice!! I do love my shades 🙂
