Hunter and Jackson are SIX! We celebrated them this past weekend with a plane-themed birthday party.
We had the cutest party at We Rock the Spectrum Play Gym with some old and new friends from preschool and Kindergarten. The boy's cousins from Charlotte also came, which was wonderful.
The folks there do such a nice job with a party that we decided to go back for a second year. The boys couldn't wait to ride their zipline again. We love this sweet little gym and the kind people who run it!
Here's some of the cute plane decor. I love how it turned out.
The cakes and cupcakes were from Publix and I love how they came out too.
The kids got to play and run around like crazy for an hour and a half, plus do an airplane craft.
Then we sang Happy Birthday!
And then we passed out cake, snacks, and juice. Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, and I'm so glad we could throw this for them!
In case you missed it, here's their Little Pumpkin First Birthday Party, Dump Truck Second Birthday Party, Construction Trucks Third Birthday Party, Pirate Fourth Birthday Party, and Trash Truck 5th Birthday Party.
I just can't hardly believe the boys are six. This year has simply flown by and with everything that happened in late September- October the birthday snuck up on me this year. It's getting hard to remember them as babies, or even toddlers, as they are such big boys now! See how much they have changed since we brought them home as tiny premie babies and then on their first birthday, second birthday, third birthday, fourth birthday, and fifth birthday.
Here's a single shot of Hunter. He's still a fun-loving, love bug who tends to be a leader in a group. He loves to laugh, play in the dirt, and do sports.
And here's a single shot of Jackson. He's so thoughtful, sensitive, and kind. He loves anything to do with art, being creative, and even building and constructing things. He tells me he wants to live with me forever. 🙂
They have always had their own complete personalities, but have grown into even more of their own people this year, which has been fun to watch. I could not be more proud of them for being such fun-loving, sweet, and kind boys.
I'm also so proud of them for navigating the aftermath of Hurricane Helene well and starting kindergarten twice in the past few months.
My world is a better and much more lively place because of these two and I'm so grateful God made me their mother.
Happy Birthday Hunter and Jackson! You are my world and I'm so happy to celebrate your sixth birthday!
