Hi everyone! It's been another windy week in Asheville. I can't wait for warmer days!
The Hubs and I had a date afternoon last week and went back downtown to support. We found a new-to-us place called Cultivated Cocktails.
It's super cute and has the best creative drinks. I think I need some of these glasses in my life.
It's also right next to the new location of the Asheville Charuterie Company. They have a partnership where you can get snack boxes and take them over with your drinks. This box was amazing and they were so nice! I highly recommend both of these spots.
We also went across the street and had a lovely dinner at Asheville Proper. It's a steakhouse, but they have one special fish a night, and it was so tasty too. It was a lovely night out, and I'm so grateful we could go.
In other news, our beloved sitter had her baby and is now bringing him to our house sometimes when she comes over, and it's been so fun for all of us. The boys adore him, and I think it's been so good for them to be around a baby and help with him. Here's Jackson pushing his stroller.
The boys also did the funniest thing this weekend. They decided to make paper bracelets for our neighbors totally on their own and then insisted they drive the tractor around to deliver them.
The stuff they come up with to do these days is so funny and creative. It's constantly making me chuckle.
And finally, now that the flu is finally behind us, I've been buckling down on shooting more recipes for Running in a Skirt. I've shot a bunch over the past week, and I'm hoping to do more soo too. I like to be ahead, and I haven't been at all since Helene hit.
And here's my sweet co-worker. She sleeps on the job. 🙂
That's all for this week. Nothing too crazy, but it's nice to be in a routine with work and school. The boys have been doing well; I'm so grateful.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend! A brand new recipe will be published on Monday, so check back then.
