Hello everyone, we are off to another beautiful week in the mountains!
Remember my impulse purchase roses the other week?
They are doing so well! I know I’ve been on a bit of a gardening kick lately, but when you have roses like this, you just have to stop to well… smell them… right?
Here is a Rose-y thought for the day and some of my photos to go along with it. I hope your day is filled with plenty of pretty things that make you smile.
(Don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom for the questions of the day!)
“One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.”
~Dale Carnegie
Your turn!
What is your favorite flower? Right now I love roses, orchids & plumeria (makes me think of Hawaii!!)
Do you ever get so ahead of yourself that you forget to notice the beauty around you? I know I do! These roses are a nice reminder to notice what you have!

I'm not a huge flower person, but I do love roses. I blame The Bachelor for this! : ) Yours are beautiful!

Your roses are lovely. Growing roses isn't an easy task! My Granny always had the loveliest rose garden. I, on the other hand...not as talented...HA!

Julie, you definitely have a green thumb! Your roses are beautiful. I love roses (I have a yellow knockout rose and it smells heavenly). I also love daffodils - I guess because they are the beginning of spring and sunshine! Seems ALL of God's creation is lovely. Hope you have a blessed day girl & thank you for sharing so very much of your personal life with us.

I love roses, unfortunatly so do the deer and they have eaten them all on me so I only have 2 knock out rose bushes in front of the house. Your roses are beautiful Julie, have a good day today

I love the pink/orange roses!! I love, love, love tulips. I planted mine in a staggered timeline so I'd have them longer this year. 🙂 (It worked!)

Absolutely gorgeous photos! I love that quote too. Perfect for the beginning of summer. I have a black thumb so my husband does most of our gardening. My favorite flowers are peonies and hydrangeas. They remind me of our wedding day 🙂
