Christmas 2024 was simply magical; I know we will all remember it forever. The boys are in the sweet spot of loving Santa and all the Christmas traditions and it is a lovely time.
This year was extra special because we added even more family time to our long weekend, having my Dad, Margaret, and my Brother's family to the house the weekend before the holiday. We shared some of our traditions with them including making Gingerbread houses and seeing Santa at the Biltmore, which made it all even more special.
I can't believe it was the boy's 7th Christmas and I'm holding tight to these years of Christmas magic for them. You can catch up on their first Christmas, second Christmas, third Christmas, fourth Christmas, fifth Christmas, and sixth Christmas here! I enjoy returning and seeing how they have grown through the years.
Our Christmas weekend kicked off with my side of the family visiting. It was so wonderful to have everyone together on the holiday.
The cousins love playing with each other right now and we had so much fun making gingerbread houses with them.
We also did a Christmas scavenger hunt and had a hot cocoa bar.
In the late afternoon we took the family to the Biltmore to see Santa.
Everyone got in their last-minute Christmas wishes.
And we got our annual Santa Christmas photo! They had to keep the coats on this year, it was so cold!
We did get this adorable photo-opp inside. We didn't even plan to match and we did!
I had so much fun hanging out with some of my favorite people in the world.
We had a lovely dinner at the Village Social, which went surprisingly well for having four kids under 6! Everyone's food was fabulous and the company was even better.
On Sunday we made more of a traditional holiday meal for everyone. We all had a lovely day eating and opening gifts! I'm so grateful we had this special family time this year, it meant the world to me.
On Christmas Eve we did all of our family traditions including seeing Santa on the firetruck and making cookies! I got my Grandma's recipe this year from my Aunt and they turned out so good!
For dinner, we had our tradition of having lobster tails.
The boys were so excited and got their plates ready for Santa.
We spread reindeer food and hoped we were on the nice list. 🙂
In the morning Santa had wrapped the entire house in paper!!! He came and we had such a lovely day opening presents and playing. The boys got a mini zipline this year, which the Hubs are going to install in the coming weeks.
I'm so grateful for these precious boys and this special time in their lives where magic is real. I know these years are fleeting and I'm soaking it all in.
Thanks for following along and I hope you had a lovely Christmas too! We are traveling this week, check my Instagram to see where we are! I'll have more fresh recipes coming out in January and beyond. Thank you again for supporting my site by reading these posts and following along.

After sending my mail, I looked at the blog again, from the beginning, and all photos appeared! Guess that's the "magic" of the internet. Continue doing your excellent blog, which certainly will be a lasting memory for your family!
