Hi everyone! Happy St. Patrick's Day from the boys. St. Patrick's Day fell on our school spirit week, so we doubled up on Gators gear and green stuff to do both.
The boys upped their game with the leprechaun trap this year. Jackson especially spent three days making this. He was so into it! We didn't catch the leprechaun again, but he did leave us a few fun treats. Maybe next year. 🙂
Here's what else has been going on behind the scenes in our world, including a huge Hurricane Helene update.

Reading...
Next in my reading cue is One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It's about a woman who lost her husbands and takes years to finally find love again. Once she does her husband remarkably returns, leaving her with a terrible decision to make.
Listening...
When I first heard this song it stopped me in the tracks. It reminds me so much of my Mom and Grandmother Bea, who were both Southern women to the core. Some of the lines hit right home, like "no matter what kind of hell they were going through Jesus was right with them." We were also raised by Dolly.
Watching...
The absolute most exciting thing we have watched this week is the huge truck and excavator coming to our house and FINALLY taking away our debris pile from Hurricane Helene. We were being patient about it because there were so many bigger problems in the community than this, but wow it was amazing to see that truck drive up and it be our turn.
The boys legit thought it was the best thing they had ever seen and sat and watched the entire process, which took awhile and THREE trucks.
I'm super grateful to the workers who did this for us and the city for sending it out to help clean up the city. At one point almost every other house in our neighborhood had a pile like this and seeing them finally get cleaned up is very healing.
Buying...
A lot of the our house stuff is approaching 20 or more years old and looking worn, so I've been trying to replace some things. I came across these glasses on Amazon and they were a huge win! I think they look a lot more expensive than they are, and are super cute. If you need new glasses (they come in several different sizes) these are fabulous.
Wearing...
These great gardening gloves! We've been trying to clean up the wooded area of our house and it's still full of sticks. These are going to be amazing for spring gardening too.
Eating...
We've been air frying a lot of fish lately! Here's one of my favorite recipes for Air Fryer Tilapia. I have more air fryer recipes coming up on the blog this year. If you don't have one yet, consider buying on of these before the recipes come out. It is legit so easy to make anything!
Drinking & Indulging...
We got a membership to the Biltmore Wine Club and I've been loving it! It's fun to try new wines we would not have picked out otherwise.
Anticipating...
We are anticipating baseball season! The boys start next week and we should be pretty busy with it, but I hope they have fun too.
We are also in the thick of the Hub's tax season and working night and weekends and we can't wait for that to be over.
Praying...
The 6th month anniversary of Helene is coming up at the end of the month and I know so many people in our community are going to be feeling that. There are still so many places around here that look awful and while our lives have returned to a new normal, many people have not.
That's it for this week! I hope everyone has a fun and festive week ahead.
