After trying my Easy Homemade Salsa recipe, you might never buy store bought again!
Hi friends!
It has already been a good week. Despite my bum foot, I'm feeling pretty good.
It is finally May- yay for consistently warmer weather!
Cinco de Mayo!
AND- fresh and Easy Homemade Salsa.
You see, summer is salsa making time in my kitchen. I use my own Easy Homemade Salsa recipe.
I grow tons of tomatoes, peppers and herbs in the summer making it a breeze. I usually go through at least one batch a week through the summer months.
It is so easy because you just throw all the ingredients' in a chopper, blender or food processer and go.
I don’t have a food processor, so I make mine in two batches in my little chopper.
The end result is colorful and delicious. I really enjoy using a combination of tomatoes including yellow and purples ones for a really vibrant salsa.
Serve with any of my Mexican favorites, but especially my Black Bean and Avocado Quesadilla from Tuesday!

I love homemade salsa! However I don't get to make it too often as it is one of the things my husband loves to make so I let him make it. I love how easy it is and how you can customize it, especially good when we can run out to the garden in the summer and get everything we need to make it.

Homemade salsa is so easy to make and much better than anything you can buy at the store! I'm excited to give your recipe a try. Normally we throw whatever we have in the house into the processer so it's never quite the same!

I love homemade salsa! It's seriously SO easy and delicious! I like your idea of using cherry tomatoes--I'll have to do that! I always mash a good bit of it into an avocado and, presto, homemade guacamole! 😉 Happy WARM weather!
