Hi guys!
Happy Monday and happy Thanksgiving week. I spent the weekend getting ready for the Thanksgiving craziness that's about to start. My first house guest arrived late Sunday and I'll have people at the house all week. It's such a fun time.
I thought I'd share a little weekend photo dump today! Here we goooo.....
Friday night started off back at the Red Stag Grill bar and my current favorite drink, a Moscow Mule. They usually have live music when I go, which is always nice.
For dinner the Hubs and I went to Corner Kitchen.
We got the brie appetizer. He was so sweet to let me order it to share, even though brie is not his fav. I loved the fresh orange chutney.
For my entree I got the shrimp and risotto.
For dessert we shared this gluten free chocolate brownie, which was legit.
AND that's peppermint ice cream. Ummmmm....
Saturday kicked off with Pumpkin Pancakes courtesy of the Hubs. Recipe HERE.
I can't believe pumpkin season is almost over this year. How do you guys feel about that?
After pancakes I spent some time opening November's Pop Sugar Must Have Box! I got the box as part of my ongoing partnership with POPSUGAR.
Mine came early this month and it was such a nice surprise to see it sitting on the doorstep. The inside of the box says "Happiness Delivered" and I can totally vouch for that. I feel like a kid at Christmas when I see it.
I was blown away by this month's box guys. Best yet!
Look at all the goodies!!! I'll tell you now the Hubs and I are going to fight over that Toffee Butter Popcorn.
My other favorites in the box are this gorgeous table runner. It goes perfectly with my decor and I can't wait to use it. The quality is amazing.
There was also a great wire basket in the box, which is exactly what I needed for my Thanksgiving table. It could not have come at a better time.
I'm also crushing on these festive party picks! I love stuff like this.
By far my top two things in this month's box is this luxurious eye shadow pallet. These color are on point.
AND I teased you guys about this in my Instagram story... but look at this stunning Kendra Scott bracelet. The bracelet alone is valued at $50!
It's such a sweet bracket with a really cool slide closure. I plan on wearing it on repeat. 🙂
This month's box was a slam dunk! Order your own POPSUGAR Must Have Box here and use the coupon code SHOP5 to save $5 off your first box.
After doing some work around the house, the Hubs and I headed back out around lunch. We went back to Taco Temple. Since it's the weekend we splurged with fresh gauc.
I got my favorite two tacos. SOOOOO good. I'm addicted.
I hope I don't have to go to tacos anonymous.
After tacos we made a huge Sam's run. It was crazy and crowded, but we got what we needed and got out!
And yes, that's a giant soundbar in our cart. That's what happens when you bring the hubby to the store. haha.
I spent the rest of the day chipping away at my to-do list. Not a lot of fun, but I got a lot done and am much more prepared for Thanksgiving now.
Sunday the Hubs and I woke up early again to go back to the store. This time we picked up most of what we needed for Thanksgiving and having company.
For lunch I had a kale salad at home.
After lunch it was back to tackle the to-do list.
The puppies were NO help at all.
I think sweet Rhett was just glad Makena was sleeping and not terrorizing him.
This girl got a bath a new collar. She already outgrew her other one.
I think the pink bow suits her! What do you think?
I finished up the day with pizza and watching a movie! After a weekend of work it was nice to relax.
Here's a to a great week with family!
Thanks for stopping by today! Come back tomorrow for a Healthier Crock Pot Pumpkin French Toast!
I’m linking up with Marvelous Monday.
Your turn!
How was your weekend?

Ah that chocolate brownie with peppermint ice cream!!
Sounds like a productive weekend =) Your pups are so cute. I can't believe how big Makenna is getting! The pink bow most definitely suits her.
JulieWunder says
Thanks Kimmy! Hope you are having a nice holiday.

OH that bracelet is beautiful! And all your eats look amazing, nothing beats fresh guac and tacos in my book. And it definitely took me more trips than usual to bring in all the groceries for the week which included everything for thanksgiving. Even though it will just be my husband and I, and some friends stopping over for dessert we still have to have all the fixings! Have a great holiday with family and friends girly!
JulieWunder says
Salsa and guac is my jam!!
Kristy from Southern In Law says
Makena's collar is so cute! You can hardly see our pups' collars as they're too fluffy 😛
Our weekend was super and we're currently finalising our Thanksgiving plans! The friends we usually invite are all busy this year so it looks like it may just be us - unless we celebrate on the weekend instead!
JulieWunder says
Hope you had a great time!!!

Your three course meal out looks delicious. And you just can't do Mexican without homemade quac.....yum! I would love to try that pop sugar box. Looks like you get a lot of goodies in there. It is just not in the budget for me right now. Maybe a Christmas idea.
JulieWunder says
Homemade gauc is where it's AT!!!

I did the giant Thanksgiving run on Friday; I'm so excited about cooking. <3 Thankful that we can cook for others and count God's many mercies and His greatness even as we eat together!
And those tacos look so FRESH and delicious. I love watching how they plate gourmet meals.
JulieWunder says
Such a good attitude!!!
Deborah @ Confessions of a mother runner says
In the Thanksgiving prep mode over here too! Organized chaos I like to call it. Have a great week
JulieWunder says
That's the perfect description!
Susie @ SuzLyfe says
Can I say that I am impressed that Makena leaves Rhett in his bed? I just imagine a puppy climbing into his bed, you know? The grocery store was frantic on FRIDAY, so I can't imagine what Sam's would be like over the weekend. We didn't even go to the store this weekend because we will hardly be here.
And now, that brownie.... and peppermint ice cream? WINNING
JulieWunder says
WELLLL that does happen sometimes too. It took a long time for her to leave him alone, but we're getting somewhere!
