Greek Yogurt Bowl Ideas
Looking for greek yogurt bowl ideas? I have some of the tastiest ones you'll find around! They are all inspired by dessert... but are actually good for you. This healthy breakfast idea will have you going back for more.
Coming up with new and breakfast ideas every day can be hard especially now that I'm making breakfast day in and out for the whole family. I try to get everyone fed with food that tastes good and is good for us. As you can imagine, it's a harder task than it sounds.
If you need healthy breakfast or a fast and nutritious snack idea... look no further than Two Good™ Greek Low Fat yogurt. Yogurt bowls with lots of fun toppings are one thing we all can agree on including the twins! These are perfect because you can customize breakfast to everyone's preference and favorites without a lot of fuss.
Which yogurt do you use for these Greek yogurt bowl ideas?
You are going to love these greek yogurt bowl ideas. I'm sharing that breakfast idea which starts with a bowl of rich and creamy Greek yogurt topped with fun toppings like your favorite fruit, granola, coconut, and nuts!
I recently started buying a new type of Greek yogurt, Two Good™, to make with my bowls. It has a delightfully creamy taste and luxurious texture. I also feel good buying and serving it because it is LOW FAT, LOW SUGAR, AND LOW CARB! It's the perfect base for my yogurt bowls.
Two Good™ actually has 80% less sugar than another Greek yogurt because it's made with a unique straining process that removes sugar from the milk leaving only 2 grams of sugar in each 5.3-ounce cup.
The individually portioned cups come in convenient four-packs with flavors like strawberry, mango hibiscus, raspberry, blueberry, vanilla, peach, mixed berry, coconut, black cherry, and plain.
For my Greek yogurt bowl ideas, I used the quart-sized container which comes in vanilla or plain. Each ¾ cup serving has 90 calories, a mighty 13 grams of protein, 4 carbs and 0 added sugar.
What is healthy to put in yogurt?
There are so many opinions (keep reading for my full list) but on the top of the list is fruit, nuts, granola (in moderation), and natural sweeteners like honey. All of these healthy breakfast ideas sound indulgent, but they are actually full of healthy toppings.
Why are yogurt bowls good for you?
Yogurt bowls are a healthy way to get protein, healthy fats, fruit, and seeds into your breakfast. The yogurt is rich in probiotics, calcium, magnesium and protein plus you get an added health boost wit the toppings you add.
Now that we have our yogurt let's dive into those greek yogurt bowl ideas!
4 Dessert Inspired Greek Yogurt Bowl Ideas
The best way to make a Greek yogurt bowl is to start with a great CREAMY and flavorful yogurt-like Two Good™ and add nutritious toppings like fruit and something with a crunch like granola or nuts. You need both to get the best flavor and texture. Vanilla Greek yogurt is the perfect base for these greek yogurt breakfast bowls.
Any combination of those two things is great BUT I like to add some punch to my Greek yogurt bowl ideas making them dessert-inspired featuring flavors like Chunky Monkey, Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Muffin. I'm using the vanilla flavor for my bowls because I feel like it gives them that freshly baked flavor you need for a sweeter snack or breakfast.

How to Make the Yogurt Bowls...
Making yogurt bowls is simple! You can be fancy with it as in my photos or just sprinkle on the toppings depending on your mood.
- Put the yogurt in a small bowl.
- Carefully put the toppings on. To get the nut butter drizzle microwave the nut butter for 15 seconds to loosen it up.
- Serve immediately for breakfast or a snack.
- You can also make and store the bowls in a glass jar. They taste best when made, but store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
These dessert-inspired yogurt bowl ideas are a great option when you start with low sugar, low fat, and low carb greek yogurt like Two Good™.
