My homemade Lemon Tahini Dressing recipe is a kitchen game changer you must make!
Hi everyone!
For some reason, I had shied away from buying tahini for years. I thought it was an indulgent, fancy, hard to find ingredient that no one actually cooked with. Then I fell in love with a Tahini dressing at one of my favorite local green eateries. I couldn't get enough of it, so in normal food blogger fashion I got over myself and decided I needed to try to make it at home.
I was shocked that it was actually pretty easy to get the tahini at a regular ole grocery store. I even found it on Amazon. <--- affiliate link
Homemade Lemon Tahini Dressing Recipe
In no time I whipped up my own homemade Lemon Tahini Dressing recipe.... and GUUUUYYYSSSSS....
Holy moly is it GOOOOODDDDD.
The dressing is simply made with lemon, tahini, olive oil, garlic and a little water to thin it out. Yup, it's only 4 ingredients which makes it a total winner in my book.
My homemade Lemon Tahini Dressing recipe tastes amazing on salads of all kinds but is also a spectacular topping for grain and buddha bowls. It basically is the SECRET SAUCE to make most vegetarian or vegan food even better. I'm a little sad I hadn't figured this out a decade ago.
You have to believe me that this is totally crave-worthy and a game-changer in the kitchen. Now one bottle of tahini might seem a little pricy, but you only use two tablespoons at a time so it goes a long way. As a former tahini skeptic, I can totally say it's worth the purchase.
Make a batch for a salad today and coming up on Thursday I'm going to share with you my favorite grilled vegetable buddha bowl for summer. It uses this homemade Lemon Tahini Dressing recipe as a topping and will be one of your favorite recipes of the summer, I promise!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

I am from the middle east and we also add white vinegar in addition to the lemon juice to the Tahini sauce. Also try cooking grilled Salmon in Tahini sauce by covering it and wrap it in aluminum Foil before putting it on the grill

I have a jar of tahini. I need to try this. I've always been a little reluctant to use tahini, but I think I need to try it in a dressing.

This sounds so tasty. I always think making your own dressing is so time consuming but it really isn't. I guess I'm just being lazy.
