Happy end of March, dear reader!
I am so thrilled we are now finally in spring and heading into some of my favorite months of the year. Since the month is winding down, It is time for another wrap up of the Top 5 Posts of the Month and a little life update.
Time flies when you are having fun, right!
Blog & Personal Updates
This month has felt very busy to me. I feel like everything that was supposed to happen in February that got cancelled because of the snow, got rescheduled for March. I had a few moments where I felt in over my head and a little panicky about what I needed to get done. Then I would get worried that I wasn’t achieving my work/life balance I’ve been trying so hard to keep. I’m hoping to get a grip on those feelings in April and find a way to not be connected 24/7. A lot of work goes in behind the scenes on a blog and I need to figure out how to put down my computer/phone at a certain time each day and be ok with the fact that I can't do it all.
My biggest time burner this month has been my blog videos. I produced two new videos this month and I am pretty happy with the way they turned out, but I’m still learning HOW to put them together and am not very efficient yet. Hopefully I will get there soon.
Did you miss them?

Until I get faster at the entire process, I'm not going to be able to put them out as often as I'd like, but hopefully I will get there eventually. I’m also in the market for a better microphone 🙂
I also got to go to Blogging Concentrated this month which proved to be an amazing resource for blog knowledge. I’ve been slowing implementing their ideas over the past few weeks and probably have months of little projects I can work on.
The blog redesign is slowly rolling along and will hopefully be ready sometime late Spring/Summer.
And finally, March for Babies projects are in full swing right now! I am looking for some team captains who are willing to start a team! Any takers? It is an easy process! You can also just walk on my team. Make sure to check out this post for more information.
On a complete side note, I've also been running back and forth to the vet a lot this month. We finally decided last week that Reina's knee was not going to heal on her own and she needed a follow up surgery to the knee surgery she had in October. There is an issue with one of sutures irritating the soft tissue around the incision site. The vet says it should be a very quick procedure and she should be fine within a week. Any prayers you send our way would be appreciate! This is her third surgery six months.

Julie, that balance you keep striving for....searching for....hoping for can only come through God. We tend to leave Him out when we get busy and feeling overwhelmed. If you can remember to turn to Him in prayer during those stressful, overwhelmed times, I KNOW you will find a whole new sense of peace and balance. We can not do it on our own. For those of you trying...that's great until you hit "the wall". Take time every single day to focus on Him, giving thanks. My relationship with The Lord grows more each time I step out of my world and into His arms....
JulieWunder says
Thanks Shelley! I totally agree!
