My Strawberry Basil Smoothie is packed with sweet red berries, lightly floral basil, and tangy yogurt. It is finished with a handful of iron-packed spinach to give this delicious and unique treat a healthy punch.
Strawberry Basil Smoothie
Hi friends! Today is another video day on Running in a Skirt! I'm sharing the secrets to making this healthy and unexpected smoothie... a Strawberry Basil Smoothie.
I took my camera out of the office and into the kitchen to make a delicious and unique smoothie recipe that I know you will love.
The combination of adding basil to this smoothie might seem a little strange at first, but it really gives this smoothie a little something special and unique. The basil is a very subtle flavor and not overpowering at all.
My video also includes some of my favorite smoothie making tips! I hope you enjoy!
If you wanted to put even more nutrients into this smoothie you could add chia seeds, flax seeds or even your favorite protein powder. Just remember anything you add will impact the overall calorie count of the drink.
So bright and delicious. The basil adds a very subtle floral note that I just love.
I hope you do too!
