Happy Monday!
I hope y'all had a wunderful weekend.
Things I'm Loving Lately 25
Cherries
The past few weeks cherries have been on sale at the store and I've snagged them. Such little bites of summer perfection.
Daylillies
If you've been following on Instagram, you've gotten a sneak peak at all my daylillies. The ones I got last year at the daylilly farm have bloomed again and brought me so much joy. I've got probably a dozen different kinds, so here are just few.
Gorgeous, huh?
Lightened- Up Three Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms
Seriously, I should have come up with a shorter title for these! That's a mouthful.
Regardless, I've been on a roll making them. They are sooooo good and such an easy vegetarian grilling option.
I know they have cheese... but they also have a CUP of fresh spinach in each one. I'll call that #winning.
Yoga
So... I hurt my feet. I'm pretty certain I have Planter Fasciitis (I want to cry just typing it...) and need to go to the doctor, but I've been trying to see if I can get it to go away on it's own. I've traded in yoga for running the past few weeks just to stay active.
I'm super, super mad and bummed about not running, but have really enjoyed the time to work on my yoga strength. I even mastered a back bend! Who ever thought these old bones could do that again. I've got to get someone to take a photo. 🙂
I know some of you are also plagued by this issue, so if you have any suggestions please let me know. Do I just need to suck it up and go to the doctor? It is feeling a lot better on it's own.
BitMoji
I know I'm often the last to come to the party when it comes to cool stuff, but I finally got a BitMoji! My friend Sommer helped me make one on our way back from the Bahamas. I may be a little too enthusiastically sending them to friends and family.
Hopefully I'm not annoying anyone tooooo much. Muh----haha!
Have a wonderful day, everyone.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Coming up this week:

Those stuffed mushrooms look so delicious!!
JulieWunder says
Thank you! I hope you get a chance to try them.
Andrea on Vacation says
It is the flip flops. 90% of my beach house had plantar fasciitis last year (and it sucks, so sorry to hear you have it too!). I'm being a little more cognizant about it this year in rotating shoes and just going barefoot.
JulieWunder says
Good call. I've heard that too!
Mary Beth Jackson says
I love my Bitmoji! To much fun! Those lily pics are stunning! Rest that foot!
JulieWunder says
I will! Thank you!
Jeff SWANN says

Edye says
What beautiful flowers! Hope you have a great week, Julie <3
JulieWunder says
Thank you, Edye!
Deborah @ Confessions of a mother runner says
All of those flowers are gorgeous! Oh no on the PF it's the worst. Really my best advice is to rest it and it will heal so much faster.
JulieWunder says
Thanks for the tip, Deborah. Did you do yoga when it was flaring?
April Sanborn says
I had planter fasciitis many years ago. If that is what you have, the sooner you go to the doctor, the better. There are things that can be done to speed the healing process. Otherwise, it can take much longer to heal.
By the way, I love your blog, recipes travel, etc.
JulieWunder says
Thanks for the tip, April. I'm so glad you enjoy the blog. Thank you so much for reading.
lacey@fairytalesandfitness says
Those are some beautiful flowers! Sorry to hear about your foot. At least you are staying active e yoga. I have not done any yoga since my trial period ended at the studio. I need to get back into it.
JulieWunder says
I've really been enjoying it! It's hard to do it more than once a week when I'm running though!
Blane Sherer says
I've been eating cherries too.
Love those day lilies.
Sorry about your feet.
I hope that improves. Roll it and
rest it like in Dan's response. Keep
treating it preventively once it calms
down. Of course if need be then see
your MD and get a referral if needed
for more specialty treatment. That's my
advice. Wish you the best .
JulieWunder says
Great advice! Thank you!
Dan Steadman says
Loving the Chic-fil-A one app. love the food, but love scooting in and out and having fresh food without having to stand in line...and the treats are pretty sweet...
as far as the foot...had it in late 2014....roll it with a tennis ball, baseball on the bottom of the foot, or get a roller for it at Academy, worked for me, that and rest for about 4 weeks....
get back running soon, the HC10k will be here before you know it
JulieWunder says
That does sound like a great app! I'm doing a frozen water bottle-- seems to be helping.
Dannii @ Hungry Healthy Happy says
We are loving cherries at the moment too. Especially when they are with chocolate. Is there any combination better than chocolate and cherries?
JulieWunder says
Nope! Chocolate and cherry is da bomb! Can't go wrong there.
Susie @ SuzLyfe says
The hubs got me on the Bitmoji train too! And now we basically do nothing but send them to each other. Because we are 5 years old. Cherries to the max, please and thank you. And your flowers are always so gorgeous! You have such a green thumb. Me, not so much.
Sorry about the foot issues. I hope you resolve them quickly!
JulieWunder says
I guess I'm a 5 year old too-- because they make me laugh :-)))))
