Another fabulous week in Hilton Head has come and gone. I look forward to our summer trip to my favorite island every year. It once again lived up to my expectations and we all made some fabulous memories. Our boys now look forward to going too and even have their favorite things to do while we are there.
In the coming months, I will be updating my Hilton Head Travel Guide and Hilton Head Food Guide (there are some delicious new places to eat on the island,) but for now, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite photos from our trip. The memories we make here are precious to me, and I love having them all to reflect on. I hope you enjoy seeing them too. Just for fun check out our trips from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
I'll kick things off with photos from our favorite spot... the beach! We all love the beach and my boys are so happy playing in the sand and waves.
Proof the Hubs was there too!
Every year something new happens or they gravitate towards something. This year it was boogie boarding and for the first time, they got the hang of it on their own.
They did it last year but Daddy was pushing them to start but this year they were able to catch the waves on their own. It was a hoot!
We also spent quality time playing in exploring the tide pools. There is so much magic here!
We even found some starfish this year. We quickly put them all back!
I know they will not love playing in the tide pools forever, so I'm trying to embrace it for now.
Another fun thing we got this year was these Surfer Dude toys, which were so entertaining. If you are looking for something new to add to your beach bag this year, I highly recommend these. You put them out in the ocean and they ride back to you. On windy days, we were also able to play with them in the deeper tide pools.
We also did the pirate boat ride again, which was so fun.
This year instead of getting take out, we took the boys out to dinner most of the nights. We also ate some lunches out on the beach.
Both of the boys are really good eaters, but Jackson is a foodie and loves to eat out!
Another highlight was trying to new Benny's Coastal Kitchen, which had these gorgeous views.
They also had all sorts of fun lawn games and swings for families. The food was so good and it was such a great place for everyone in the family.
If you are going this year, I'd consider adding it to your plans.
And we also really enjoyed our dinner at Fish Camp this year. I got lucky enough to get two family photos this time around! Yay!
It was such a wondering trip with many core memories made for everyone. Not photographed is the boys joining the show at Shelter Cove with Shannon Taylor. It was so funny and they got up on stage and talked and sang. We will remember this trip for a lifetime.
Thanks for sharing my family memories with us! I hope you have a wonderful week and a blessed 4th of July. I'll share highlights from ours soon.
