Hi everyone! We are back from another lovely week in Turks and Caicos. We loved our trip last year so much, that we decided to hit the repeat button and do it again. The island, weather, and views did not disappoint. Much like last year, we had such a nice week in paradise.
We spent the week at Beaches Turks and Caicos and I could not recommend it enough for a family-friendly EASY vacation with gorgeous beaches, delicious food, and TONS of activities for the kids. It was 80 degrees all week, with barely a cloud in the sky and just look at this gorgeous turquoise water. It's something I've only seen in a few other places! This is NOT a filter.

You seriously can't beat the weather, location, and how easy the trip is!
Highlights of this trip included lots of beach time above and hanging out with our new turtle floats. They are the perfect size for the boys and they had so much fun with them at the pool and beach.
They used them as floats and even boogie boards.
Here's Jackson riding a wave in. I think he would spend all day doing this if he could!
Hunter, as always, would spend all day in the sand. This kid is such a beach baby. Since he was little he's made himself sand pillows and sand beds.
We also spent a lot of time watching some gorgeous sunsets.
The sky and the beach were so gorgeous!
We decided to try something different this year and for a morning we rented a local sailboat to go to a remote island.
The Hub's and I had done this when we went to Turks and Caicos first over a decade ago and were thrilled to share the adventure with the boys.
They even learned about sailing from the crew.
The remote island was so stunning and we had this beach to ourselves.
They even got to raise a pirate flag, which my kids thought was the coolest thing ever. I think they think they are pirates. 🙂
At the resort, Beaches Turks and Caicos, we also tried to do some of the activities we missed last time including the parade and riding on the catamarans. We got another lesson from a resort guide who gave us a ride. I call these our "boat happy" faces.
All of the watersports including Hobie cats, kayaks, and paddle boards are included. There is even an included snorkeling excursion and a glass bottom boat.
They also have the cutest little train that goes around the resort for kids that we got to ride. My train-loving kids got such a kick out of this.
We did the Sesame Street show AND the Sesame Street breakfast where we got great photos with all the Sesame Street characters including Elmo. It was such a perfect way for the kids to have some one-on-one time with the characters. The resort did such a lovely job with the breakfast and I highly recommend it for little kids.
Plus, we spend a LOT of time at the water park doing the water slides and lazy river. This year the boys were tall enough to do two out of three of the big waterslides at the resort.
It was such a beautiful week in paradise all around!
Included in the resort package is a sunset photo shoot too! We got some better ones this year and I wanted to share them with you as part of my favorite moments. Here's the best family photo. The kids for some reason are terrible at photos like this, so this was a victory for me.
I also got this one of myself and the twins.
But Dad's photo wins as my favorite of the trip.
And here's the boys!
And finally a good one of the Hubs and I.
That's all my favorite moments! I'm going to be publishing my travel information about the resort in the coming weeks, but wanted to share my favorite photos first.
