Hi everyone! After traveling two weeks in a row to Pittsburgh and then Watercolor, Florida, it has been nice to be back home and enjoying some normalcy.
The highlights of the week was getting these amazing wheelbarrows! Our wonderful friend and neighbor was able to go to Costco to find them and honestly, it's been one of the funniest toys they have had.
All of the neighbor kids have had fun digging in the dirt and mulch. My kids have spent HOURS over the past week playing with them. I'm super grateful to our incredibly kind and thoughtful neighbor who picked them up for my kids too!
And on a side note, my kids for some reason call wheelbarrows "wheelburgers" and we just love it and don't have the heart to tell them they saying it wrong. I'm going to be one sad Mama when they start saying it correctly because it's so stinking cute.
And in the ultimate boy-mom moment, here's Jackson showing me the worm he found and asking me is we could keep it.
The wheelbarrows came just in time for our big weekend gardening project. We were a bit behind in starting everything this year, so we had a big weekend buying and planting all of our garden and flowers. Here's the garden this year. The Hubs has installed an irrigation system for all my plants, which is the best thing ever because it would take me SO long to take care of everything before.
And I'll spam you with flower photos now!
And finally here's this year's Herb Tower. For those who have been reading for the long haul, you might remember that making this was its own post back in the day. If you want to learn how to make it, check it out. It now has links to Amazon to buy the pots.
It also rained a lot this week and we've had to get creative with getting fresh air. We have played in the garage a lot just to get out of the house.
And for Mother's Day I asked for all my plants and to take the time to plant them all this weekend, which was a huge job! I'm so glad it's done too!
I also got to go out to the Lobster Trap for a fabulous dinner.
And the boys made me the sweetest flowers at preschool.
I sure am grateful to be their Mother! Here they are snuggling up on the couch after a hard day of playing. 🙂
That's all for this week! We have a big week coming up with the twin's preschool graduation this Friday and family in town for it.
I hope you all have a great weekend too!
