Hi everyone! It's been a whirlwind of a week with the boy's Christmas program, a quick overnight visit to Orlando to see a friend's new baby, and lots of last-minute Christmas details to wrap up.
One of the big highlights of the week was the twin's final Christmas preschool program where they were two of the three wise men in the nativity. They had a huge role and walked the entire aisle of the church and gave baby Jesus a gift, which was so sweet. They did so well and I was so proud of them. All the kids were dressed up like different characters in the nativity, which was heartwarming.
I love our little preschool and I'm going to be so sad to move on to kindergarten next year.
The other highlight was a speedy trip to Orlando by myself to see my oldest and dearest friend's new baby. It was a whirlwind trip, but I'm so glad I got to go. They aren't sharing photos online of the baby, so I don't have photos but it was nice to see them!
I also haven't really traveled at all by myself since we had the boys, and it was strange to be away for a quick trip without the fam. I missed my boys so much! I'm so glad we made it happen though, because seeing her was priceless.
We were also able to squeeze in a fun drink at the new rooftop bar in Asheville. The Observatory is super cute and has the best drinks.
And we've also spent lots of time outdoors this week. Here's Jackson.
And here's Hunter taken by Jackson.
I also have to mention how wonderful our boys have been playing with our neighbors lately. This entire crew has been playing each afternoon and has turned into the sweetest of friends. I'm so grateful for their friendships.
That's it for this week. I'm still tired and catching up from the trip. That plus, last-minute Christmas preps, and I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm hoping to catch up a bit this weekend.
I hope you guys had a great week too! Here's to the final countdown to Christmas!
