Hi guys! We've had an epic few weeks filled with all sorts of fun activities. Since we missed so much of the summer being sick, I'm trying to fit in as many summery activities as possible before it starts to turn cooler. I just can't believe that it's already September.
One of the big highlights of the past few weeks was a lovely date afternoon to celebrate my birthday. We haven't spent much time downtown at all lately, but made the trek and had drinks and dinner. The highlight was the Capella on 9 rooftop bar.
Look at these pretty drinks and cheese plate! It was such a treat.
Our preschool hasn't started back up yet, so I've had a lot of time with the boys. I've tried to do some adventures for them and they adored the Nature Center.
It's such a fun way to spend the morning for young kids.
We also did a stream play morning one day trying to soak up the warm weather.
The boys love climbing over the rocks, collecting them, and throwing them.
I love that the little things still keep them entertained and you really would have thought I took them to Disney with as much fun as they had.
We haven't had a lot of time healthy at home this summer, so it was so nice to do this!
And finally, look at this adorable one of Jackson and the bell pepper we grew. My poor garden looks terrible and we've had an awful year for plants, BUT I did get this pepper. 🙂 My boys also ate it, which made me super happy.
That's all for the week. I hope you've had a fun week too and enjoying this transitional time.
See you next week with our back-to-school update... preschool is BACK on Tuesday.
