Weekly Happenings - End of Preschool, Summer Kick-Off & All the Sickness

Hi everyone! It's been a doozy of a week plus.  The Hubs got sick last week with a non-C virus with a super high fever.  We quarantined him in the bedroom, while I single parented for 6 days, with hopes of keeping everyone else healthy, but it didn't work and the twins and I got it.

No one has been able to fight it off well and now the Hubs has pneumonia and Jackson has a double ear infection.  I also have an infection and Hunter has just been miserable.  It's the most prolonged virus and as I'm writing this Thursday afternoon we are all still very sick.

I was supposed to host my high school girlfriends in Asheville for a fun summer weekend and we even had to cancel that because we can't get rid of the fevers and are still contagious.  I am so sad.

I know that things like this just happen and it will pass with time, but we are struggling and could use some prayers.  I'm hoping so much we can start to get back to normal this weekend and have a normal week next week.

I did have a few cute photos to share from before we got sick.  The boys had their last day of 2-year-old preschool last week!  Here are their last day of school photos.  I can't believe how much they have changed from the start of the year.

The teachers said they had a great year with so much growth.  We are super grateful for their patience and kindness toward our very active little boys. 🙂

They will start the 3-year-old class in September.

Before we got sick we celebrated the end of preschool by having a little popsicle and water party in the yard.

The boys were so sweet and loved these!

I can't wait for us all to be healthy again and start to enjoy the season.

I'm keeping it super short this week because I still am feeling bad.  Thanks for all the healthy vibes and prayers.  Here's hoping for a better weekend ahead.
