Hi everyone! It's been a fun week filled with some really fun things. The two highlights of my week were going to Greenville to see The Lion King. I met one of my close friends who lives down there and we had so much fun going to dinner and the show.
I even got to stay in downtown Greenville overnight because I wouldn't say I like driving at night. Thanks to the Hubs who held down the fort for the night and got the boys to school on Monday morning. It was such a lovely break, and I loved the show. Live theater, especially huge shows like that, brings me joy.
The other highlight of my week was meeting a few Asheville blogger friends in real life.
We had dinner at the new Soprana restaurant in downtown Asheville. The food and views were so good!
You can't beat these sunsets!
I highly recommend checking it out!
One of the lows for the week was when Jackson got an eye infection and had to stay home one day. We haven't had a lot of times where just one of them as been sick to stay home, so it was strange to drop just Hunter off. Jackson had a great day at home and was completely better the next day.
Another low of the week has been the super rainy forecast. We got rained out of our pretty outdoor soccer field and had to play inside this week.
I'm glad it wasn't canceled though because I'm loving how much the boys are learning at soccer.
And on another random note, I've been watching the leaves slowly start to change on my morning runs. It's such a bittersweet time of year for me.
And several folks have asked me lately if I'm still running. The answer is YES! Very slowly 3-4 times a week... just 3 miles at a time. I don't talk about running much here anymore, but it is still a huge part of my life.
That's all for this week! We have another much-needed low-key weekend at home. I hope everyone had a great week too.
