Hi everyone! It's been a HUGE week in my life as the twins started preschool!
The fun kicked off with a short meeting with our teacher last week. The twins were so excited!
It was great because we got to see the classroom which is something that's not going to happen often because they aren't allowing adults in the building right now to try to keep everyone healthier.
They really loved the classroom and playground and we had a great experience.
On Tuesday they started classes and it went well. They kept asking me to come with them but we were able to do the handoff without tears for the boys. I went back to the car and cried though. I didn't anticipate how hard it would be to leave them.
Luckily it got better through the week and I"m hopeful we can all start adjusting to our new routine.
I took a bunch of preschool photos too! I'll just spam you with them now. 🙂
Just imagine Hunter going CHEEEEESSEE in these photos because that's what we get these days.
Aren't they the absolute cutest??? It is literally like having your heart outside of your body. My Mom always used to say that and now I get it. It's hard to let go even just a little.
I know school will be really good for them though so here's to a healthy and happy school year!
Most of the week was focused on the transition to preschool but the Hubs and I did have a few hours to ourselves on Saturday and took a trip up to the Neverending Flower Farm, which is a you-pick flower field near Bakersville.
Just look at this bouquet!
It's such a pretty ride and a gorgeous place! Totally worth the time and effort if you love flowers as much as I do.
That's about it for the week! I'm looking forward to a nice weekend at home and some time with my boys.
Hope you had a healthy and happy week too.
