Hi everyone! It's been a challenging few weeks as we've been dealing with the flu going through the family. I had a fever for 7 days with it and am just starting to turn a corner on day 11, although I am still exhausted and coughing. I'm hoping we can get and keep the rest of the family healthy this weekend, but it does seem to be dragging on a bit.
I hope everyone reading this can stay healthy, I know there are so many cases of flu out there right now.
I wasn't able to get a post out last week because I was so sick, but I did have a few photos from when we were doing better. Look at those smiles. 🙂
One of the big highlights recently we were able to put up the boy's Christmas gift, a zipline!
A friend of ours had one and so the boys wanted one too. Santa brought it to them.
It comes in a kit and they love it. I love that it's something else fun for them to burn energy outside with!
We also celebrated the boy's 100th day of school. Unfortunately, only Hunter was well enough to go to school that day, but he looked adorable.
And finally in my camera roll was an amazing date the Hubs and I had right before we got sick. We went to the Tiki Bar, which is one of my new favorite places.
And we also visited The Lobster Trap, an old favorite place. Asheville is so quiet, that we have been trying to go downtown when we can to help support all the businesses. I know they are struggling still.
And here's proof we were there! You can't go wrong with that place. 🙂
That's all for this week. Send some healthy vibes our way... it's been a long few weeks health wise and we could use a few prayers. Here's to some better days ahead!
Love, Julie

Glad everyone's recovering. Sweet pictures. I always loved special events at school when my daughter would get to dress up. So much fun putting costumes together.
