This Blackened Shrimp recipe is oven-baked instead of pan-seared to make a healthy, fast, and delicious way to cook shrimp with minimal prep work and cleanup. This healthy seafood dinner comes together in just 10 minutes with 3 ingredients including my homemade Blackening Seasoning.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Pat the shrimp with a paper towel to dry them off.
In a medium bowl, add the shrimp, melted butter and blackening seasoning. Mix well.
Pour the shrimp onto the baking sheet and evenly space them out.
Cook for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turn opaque and start to curl.
Serve immediately with fresh lemon slices.
Notes
Storage & LeftoversStore any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in 30-second increments in the microwave, just until warm. Don't overcook it.FreezingI don't recommend freezing this because the shrimp have most likely already been frozen.
